of use.

Eligibility.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Restory. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Your account & device.

Restory does not require you to create a separate account — your purchases and subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID. You are responsible for the security of your device and your Apple ID credentials, and for any activity that occurs under your Apple ID on the App.

Your photos & content.

You own your photos

You retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the photos you upload to Restory. We do not claim any ownership of your content.

Licence you grant to us

By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to process that photo solely to deliver the AI restoration result you requested. This licence ends as soon as the photo is processed and deleted from our servers. We do not use your photos to train any AI model.

Your responsibilities

You agree that you will only upload photos for which you have the necessary rights and permissions. You must not use Restory to:

• Upload content that infringes on anyone else's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
• Upload content depicting minors in any sexual or exploitative way
• Create content intended to deceive, defame, harass, or harm others
• Create deepfakes or other misleading impersonations of real people without their consent
• Upload content that is unlawful, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to refuse processing for any photo that we believe violates these Terms.

Subscriptions, credits & payments.

Subscription plans

Restory offers the following auto-renewing subscriptions, all processed through Apple's App Store:

• Weekly Plan — $9.99 per week, 40 AI photo credits per week
• Monthly Plan — $29.99 per month, 125 AI photo credits per month

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.

One-time credit packs

We also offer non-expiring credit packs available as one-time in-app purchases:

• Small Pack — $9.99 for 25 credits
• Medium Pack — $19.99 for 60 credits
• Large Pack — $39.99 for 130 credits

Credits from one-time packs do not expire. Subscription credits refresh each billing cycle and do not roll over.

Credit usage

Most AI tools cost 1 to 2 credits per generation. SUPIR Denoise (premium) costs 5 credits per use. Credit costs may change; the current cost of each tool is always shown in the App before you confirm a generation.

Managing your subscription

You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not issue direct refunds, but if you have an issue with the App, please email us at support@restoryapp.site — we will do our best to make it right.

Intellectual property.

Restory, including the App, its branding, logos, UI designs, and all underlying technology (except for your own uploaded photos), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the App without our written permission.

Restory integrates third-party AI models from Topaz Labs, SUPIR, Google Gemini Pro, BiRefNet, and CodeFormer. These models are owned by their respective providers and are used under licence.

AI-generated content disclaimer.

Restory's tools use AI models to restore and enhance photos. While we strive for high-quality results, AI-generated content is probabilistic by nature and results may vary. You acknowledge that:

• Results may not perfectly match your expectations
• Features such as Baby Prediction are intended for entertainment purposes only and do not produce scientifically accurate predictions
• Avatar and other generative tools may produce artistic interpretations of your photos

Restory is not responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on AI-generated content.

Acceptable use.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the App or our servers
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the App
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without our written permission
• Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any specific AI result will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Restory and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months immediately preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

Indemnification.

You agree to indemnify and hold Restory harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Termination.

You may stop using Restory at any time by deleting the App from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your licence to use the App ends immediately.

Changes to these terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Apple-specific terms.

These Terms are between you and Restory, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions, Apple's terms shall govern with respect to the use of the App. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.

Governing law.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Restory operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
